Sadly it looks as though the seniors will be involved in a relegation play-off again this year. Its a pity because I feel there has been a real improvement in a number of areas this season but just as the squad looked to be shaping up nicely injuries have conspired against us. Maybe it's time a few of the undoubtedly talented players on the second team made a concerted effort to become the senior players they are capable of becoming. I wouldn't hold my breath though!

Or could it be possible that its time that the players were allowed up,as opposed to blaming them for not making the step up?

In fairness I don't think there's many on the second team who wouldn't be given a fair chance if they made the necessary effort. There's one or two who aren't long out of minor who will eventually make the step up but it's the lads who are 23 or 24 that need to step up.

i do believe they have a player in his first official year as minor playing for them. that doesnt sound like a very competant senior team to me
